This is reflected in the fact that some of the schemes or strategies described will only fit a certain set of personal circumstances, but this is inevitable in a book which covers so many aspects of goal setting and achieving.

The scientific backup is the result of actual research, not just the authors views or even experience, so adds a form of third party proof to the mix. Having said that, this information is presented in such a way as not to detract from the actual reading experience.
